Cat Fight!
Hillary Clinton (hateful) and Bill O’Reilly (equally hateful) are going head-to-head on The O’Reilly Factor tonight.
I am politically in the middle on most subjects. I don’t pick sides in political battles because both sides are usually stupid and wrong. Being in the middle, I can safely say that I hate Hillary Clinton as much as I hate Bill O’Reilly. They are both equally, although in different ways, polititarded.
I will, however, TiVo this battle royale. It will be great fun later with a bottle of good gettin’-trashed-liquor and a bowl of popcorn.

Bill O’Reilly’s got a better chance of getting his panties in a bunch than Hillary… ugh… so annoying…

You need to make a follow-up post and let us know how it was. I wouldn’t be able to handle watching that, personally - they both grate on me to a degree only previously achieved by my ex-wife in the divorce court.

Don’t you just get the feeling that the whole point of crap like this is to keep us thinking that we hate each other. For some reason amiable, constructive conversation doesn’t quite have the pull as angry, bitter sparring, doesn’t generate the ratings. The process is made to lead us to make comments like “I hate so-and-so” or “What’s-his-name really pisses me off!” when actually it is there politics we dislike or disagree with, not the person.
Reed is a great example of someone that I could fly off the handle and start saying how much I hate, when actually I don’t hate Reed at all. I disagree with him, but it has never prevented us from enjoying a delicious meal together; however, that picture of adversaries dining together ruins the tension so it is best kept hidden.
Media is a great picture of baiting individuals, prodding them till they are angry and then introducing them to the audience. Of course Hillary is going to be angry, since all her advisors and the media are telling her that Bill O’Reilly hates her guts, and the same is true for Bill. O’Reilly is more in the blame, in this instance, because he allows the same antics on his show day after day.

Trey, I agree with you.
But I actually legitimately hate them both. Politically and personally. It’s their own faults. They know why.

I’m glad you agree with me, Reed. I don’t actually hate them, though they both frustrate me to no end.
I was raised in a home where my dad’s normal night position was his comfortable leather chair, still wearing his scrubs, shouting agreement at whatever is being said on Fox News. At the same time, many of my friends from college and elsewhere (not so much my church family), are hardcore liberal. My problem is that when the only information either of these people are getting is from crap biased ‘news’ programs, that is a problem. At least when you either don’t know how to discern angry biased berating of the other side from information or just don’t put the effort to track down real information, that is a dangerous situation.
As an aside, I do follow some of the biased news, but the difference is I attempt at discernment. I listen to both the Bill Maher and Dennis Miller podcast, and enjoy both, but afterwards I look up actual proposed bills and transcripts.
