Yay! Thanks to Reed for making me his final addition to the Homosecular Gaytheist Team! I’m the Heterosecular Infectious Disease Pro, and I will add a few things here and there.
The following is a letter to the editor I submitted a few minutes ago to The Roanoke Times. I kept it tame in the hopes it will actually get published. Had I known I was writing it for the blog I would have been much more vulgar.
Oh, and, I hate Sarah Palin with a fucking passion.
MMKTHANKS.

If Governor Sarah Palin is having trouble connecting her 17-year-old daughter’s unplanned pregnancy to her staunch “abstinence only” education policies, perhaps I can help shed some light on the situation.
As much as parents want to believe that their teenagers would never even think about engaging in pre-marital sex, unfortunately, they are just wrong. Hormones kick in, kids make eyes at each other, and things happen. This is normal! It’s always been normal. And as long as teenagers are equipped with a proper background in sexual education, they can avoid sexually transmitted disease and unplanned pregnancy. Maybe if Palin had allowed her daughter to attend a sexual education class or even taught her about the various methods of contraception, she could have avoided the present situation.
In situations like this, the pregnant teens are not to blame. The people to blame are the parents who let their personal beliefs stand in the way of their children’s education and well-being.
Think carefully before casting your vote this November. Your decision affects your children’s lives as well as your own.

Anyone interested in finding out more about how badly Sarah Palin sucks should listen to the most recent episode of Two Smokin’ Hot Freethinkers in which Reed and I parody “Bitches Ain’t Shit” for Sarah Palin.

I really hope it gets printed.
