I like this one just fine, but the original makes more of a statement, even if it’s more subtle.

Whilst I do get where you’re coming from, if I had wanted to cop out, I wouldn’t have included them in the first place.
The boring truth of the matter is that the piece was based on a set of trumps from my childhood that contained an ultimate trump card and when I came to assign ultimate trump status I figured it suited Islam better than the other front runner (Catholicism)

I'd disagree. I think the muslim card, while missing an opportunity to take the piss as they did with the others, juxtaposed it with the other cards to make a stronger statement: one is not allowed to denigrate islam because of some faux islamophobic bollocks which takes the piss out of both islam and politically correct fucktards. Saying that, your substitute is damned sweet, although shouldn't it be '72 inexperienced grapes'? ;-)

I don’t think they should replace the opportunity for several jokes with one subtle joke. Comedy is about consistency (and timing, but that’s irrelevant in this case) and the flow of humour came to a grinding halt with this card. Also, it gives Muslims distinction among the religions portrayed because of their violence. I don’t think that we should handle violent people with care.

Actually, I found their Muslim card to be perfect. It did lampoon them, though it would have been funny if they censored the whole thing and put a smiley face over it or something.
