Oops! I forgot that April 17 was the first birthday of Homosecular Gaytheist. Before then, I wrote the blog Unorthodox Atheism and I switched to Homosecular Gaytheist in my move from Blogger to WordPress.
Since then, there have been 689 posts (including this one), 2,817 comments that made it through the spam filter, 16,740 comments that did not, and 102,508 visits to Homosecular Gaytheist from fine people like yourself. My writing staff has grown from 1 person to 5 people and Homosecular Gaytheist was mentioned on RichardDawkins.net, Reason Magazine (who panned me for calling Bristol Palin a slut) and Pharyngula.
All-in-all, that seems like a decent year. Here’s to hoping year two is better! [Takes a sip of cheap birthday champagne.]
